About Us

Verbalee is a language immersion studio where children and adults build confidence by living a new language through conversation, play, movement, and real-life experiences. We don't teach languages. We create opportunities to live them.

By using our website, registering for a program, purchasing a membership, booking a session or event, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Educational Nature of Our Programs

Verbalee provides language immersion and enrichment experiences designed to encourage natural language acquisition through conversation, play, activities, social interaction, and real-life experiences.

Verbalee does not guarantee that any participant will achieve a particular level of fluency, proficiency, academic performance, or language development within a specific period of time. Progress varies according to many factors, including attendance, age, previous exposure, participation, learning style, and individual development.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Verbalee programs are enrichment programs and are not intended to replace compulsory education, licensed childcare, medical care, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or other professional services.

3. Registration and Parent or Guardian Responsibility

Children’s registrations must be completed by a parent or legal guardian or another adult authorized to register the child.

The person registering a minor represents that they have the legal authority to register the child and provide the information and permissions required for participation.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information, including emergency contact information and any information reasonably necessary for the safe participation of their child.

4. Memberships and Fees

Membership prices, registration fees, class prices, event fees, and other charges are displayed on our website, registration materials, or communicated before enrollment.

All applicable fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at registration.

Membership fees and program prices may change. Any price change affecting an existing recurring membership will be communicated before the new price takes effect.

Unless otherwise stated, registration fees are non-refundable.

5. Recurring Payments

If you enroll in a recurring membership or subscription, you authorize Verbalee and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide according to the billing schedule disclosed at enrollment.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.

If a payment is declined, Verbalee may attempt to process the payment again and may suspend participation until the outstanding balance has been paid.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Membership cancellations must be submitted according to the cancellation procedure communicated at enrollment.

“Memberships may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.”

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments already earned or attributable to services already provided are non-refundable.

Special events, birthday parties, field trips, workshops, camps, and other limited-capacity programs may have separate cancellation and refund policies disclosed at booking. Those specific policies will control when they differ from this section.

7. Missed Classes and Attendance

Participants are responsible for attending scheduled programs.

Verbalee does not guarantee refunds, credits, or make-up sessions for programs missed because of a participant’s absence.

Verbalee may offer make-up opportunities at its discretion when space and scheduling permit.

8. Schedule Changes and Cancellations

Verbalee may modify instructors, activities, schedules, rooms, program formats, or other operational details when reasonably necessary.

Programs may be cancelled or rescheduled because of severe weather, emergencies, instructor availability, facility problems, government orders, safety concerns, or circumstances outside Verbalee’s reasonable control.

When appropriate, Verbalee may provide a make-up session, credit, rescheduled event, or other reasonable alternative.

9. Health and Safety

Participants and their parents or guardians are responsible for communicating relevant allergies, accessibility needs, emergency information, or other information reasonably necessary for safe participation.

Participants who are ill, contagious, or otherwise unable to safely participate should not attend.

Verbalee reserves the right to contact a parent, guardian, or emergency contact and request that a child be picked up when reasonably necessary for the child’s health, safety, behavior, or well-being or the safety of others.

10. Participant Conduct

Verbalee is committed to maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.

Participants may not engage in violence, bullying, harassment, discrimination, deliberate property damage, dangerous behavior, or conduct that substantially interferes with the experience or safety of others.

Verbalee may suspend or terminate participation when reasonably necessary to protect participants, employees, visitors, or the operation of the studio.

11. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.

To the extent permitted by law, Verbalee is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal items.

12. Photos and Media

Verbalee may occasionally photograph or record activities for operational, educational, or promotional purposes.

Any use of identifiable images or recordings of minors for marketing or promotional purposes will be handled according to the permissions obtained from the child’s parent or legal guardian.

Where a separate photo or media release is provided, that release governs the use of those photographs or recordings.

13. Website Use

The Verbalee website may be used only for lawful purposes.

You may not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, gain unauthorized access to its systems, copy protected materials for commercial purposes, submit fraudulent information, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law.

14. Intellectual Property

The Verbalee name, logo, branding, curriculum materials, teaching methods and materials, graphics, written content, activity materials, photographs, videos, training materials, and other original content may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, Verbalee materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, published, adapted, or commercially used without prior written authorization.

Participation in a Verbalee program does not grant a license to reproduce or commercially use Verbalee’s curriculum, training materials, branding, or proprietary materials.

15. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, scheduling systems, email providers, social media platforms, mapping services, analytics providers, or other technology providers.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Verbalee is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not control.

16. Disclaimer

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Verbalee harmless from claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the website or services, or unlawful conduct.

This provision does not waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Texas and federal law.

20. Changes to These Terms
