Verbalee was founded by Julie Lesage, a bilingual entrepreneur and educator who has spent years helping people learn, grow, and build confidence.

As the mother of children who grew up bilingual, Julie has experienced firsthand the incredible opportunities that come from speaking more than one language. She has also taught both French and English, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and successes that language learners experience at every age.

Over the years, she became convinced that there had to be a better way to learn. Too many people spend years memorizing vocabulary and grammar, yet still don't feel comfortable having a simple conversation.

That belief inspired the creation of Verbalee, a language immersion studio where children and adults learn naturally through play, conversation, creativity, and real-life experiences. Every part of Verbalee was designed around one idea: language should be lived, not memorized.

Julie hopes Verbalee becomes more than a place to take classes. Her vision is to build a welcoming community where families can discover new cultures, make meaningful connections, and gain the confidence to communicate in another language for life.
